Sweet, and luxurious with a salty kick, this sauce is incredibly versatile and can be used in a multitude of ways.

Learn how to make homemade Salted Caramel Sauce in under 15 minutes using only a handful of store-cupboard ingredients.

Ingredients needed

Add sugar to the saucepan and slowely melt on medium to low heat.

Stir constantly - the sugar will clump but keep stirring and it will gradually melt whilst turning a soft golden colour.

Once fully melted- leave on the heat until an amber colour.

Add cubed butter in and whisk until melted and mixed into the sugar.

Then add the cream. Be careful as it will bubble up. Whisk until incorporated.

Bring sauce to a bubble whilst stirring constantly and heat for a couple of minutes until thickened. Add in salt and whisk. Then pour into a jar.
